IEEE Fellow, Prof. Kaishun Wu


Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), China


Experience: Prof. Wu received his PhD degree in computer science and engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Before joining HKUST(GZ) as a full professor at DSA Thrust and IoT Thrust, he was a distinguished Professor and Director of Guangdong Provincial Wireless Big Data and Future Network Engineering Center at Shenzhen University. Prof. Wu is an active researcher with more than 200 papers published on major international academic journals and conferences, as well as more than 100 invention patents, including 9 from the USA. He is also the owner of Special Allowance Expert of the State Council, winner of the National May 1st Labor Medal and the National Ten Thousand Talent Project, Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding National Contributions, IET Fellow, National Youth Special Expert and Ministry of Education New Century Excellent Talent. His groundbreaking work has inspired many researchers in recent years, as a result he was in the list of The World’s Top 2% Scientists, 2020 & 2021 (published by Stanford University) and Highly Cited Chinese Researchers, 2020 & 2021 (published by Elsevier).





Prof. Kannimuthu Subramaniyam


Computer Science and Engineering, Karpagam College of Engineering (Autonomous), Coimbatore, Anna University-Chennai


Experience: Kannimuthu Subramanian is currently working as Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He is also an In-Charge for the Center of Excellence in Algorithms. He is an IBM Certified Cybersecurity Analyst. He did PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at Anna University, Chennai. He did his M.E (CSE) and B.Tech (IT) at Anna University, Chennai. He has more than 15 years of teaching and industrial experience. He is the recognized supervisor of Anna University, Chennai. Two PhD candidate is completed their research under his guidance. He is now guiding 7 PhD Research Scholars. He has published 50 research articles in various International Journals.

His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data Structures and Algorithms, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Virtual Reality & Blockchain. He Conferred   Second Best Team in NLP Challenge as part of FIRE 2019 conference. He secured first Position in NLP Challenge as part of FIRE 2018 Conference.






IEEE Senior member, Prof. Chinthaka Premachandra


Shibaura Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan


Experience: Chinthaka Premachandra (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Sri Lanka. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Mie University, Tsu, Japan, in 2006 and 2008, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan, in 2011. From 2012 to 2015, he was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo, Japan. From 2016 to 2017, he was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering, School of Engineering, Shibaura Institute of Technology, Tokyo, where he was an Associate Professor, from 2018 to 2022. In 2022, he was promoted to a Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Shibaura Institute of Technology, where he is currently the Manager of the Image Processing and Robotic Laboratory. His research interests include AI, UAV, image processing, audio processing, intelligent transport systems (ITS), and mobile robotics.
He is a member of IEEE, IEICE, Japan; SICE, Japan; RSJ, Japan; and SOFT, Japan. He received the IEEE SENSORS LETTERS Best Paper Award from the IEEE Sensors Council in 2022 and the IEEE Japan Medal from the IEEE Tokyo Section in 2022. He also received the FIT Best Paper Award and the FIT Young Researchers Award from IEICE and IPSJ, Japan, in 2009 and 2010, respectively. He has served as a steering committee member and an editor for many international conferences and journals. He is the Founding Chair of the International Conference on Image Processing and Robotics (ICIPRoB), which is technically co-sponsored by IEEE. He is currently serving as an Associate Editor for IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (R-AL) and IEICE Transactions on Information and Systems.





Prof. Atsushi Inoue


Kyushu Institute of Tech, Japan


Experience: He has extensive experiences in both academe and industries in USA and Japan, such as Motorola Inc. (USA), Hitachi Ltd. (Japan), and Carnegie Mellon CyLab Japan (Japan & USA).  He is closely familiar with many programming langues, open source technologies (LINUX), and a single board computer (Raspberry Pi).

As a full professor, he has taught and advised students in Computer Science, Information Systems, and Data Sciences at all levels from fundamental undergraduate to advanced graduate by taking research driven and hands-on, experiential approaches.  He has advised numerous students and many of them are successful in their career development, e.g. college faculty, nationally recognized consulting firms, and global enterprises — Battelle Memorial Institute, Raytheon, Caterpillar, Lockheed-Martin, Emaars (UAE), Microsoft, Facebook, Adobe, to name a few.  He has held several fellowships and visiting professorships at reputable research institutes in France (LIP6), USA (UC Berkeley & CMU), Kazakhstan (KBTU & KazNU) and Japan (Lab. for Intn'l Fuzzy Engineering, Osaka Prefecture University & Chuo University).  He is active and well-recognized in relevant international academic societies in the world for his technical contributions and executive leaderships.
